The short animation Multivision Festival runs for the 6th year in St Petersburg, Russia. This edition is set to take place on May 31st 2008 at a unique screening place – two raised bridges crossing the Neva river in the centre of St Petersburg.
The competition is open for entries in the 3 categories: love, fairy tale or window.

Banksy has been quiet for some time. Your patience has paid off. Appearing on the streets of London over the weekend was his newest and possibly most ambitious piece “One Nation Under CCTV”. The 3 story high painting portrays a red hooded child on a ladder doing a huge roller piece above the watchful eye of a policeman and canine. The genius of this piece is that it was painted behind a security fence directly in view of one London’s many CCTV cameras.

Years ago a friend from Australia showed me how to fold an English pound note in such a way that the image of the Queen becomes a dirty picture. If I remember correctly, this involved mainly her hair and the fold at her neck. Unfortunately I don’t remember how he did it. Does anybody know how to do it?!

The above toys are made from wood and will be released some time this year!
Im really excited because they have an upcoming solo show at CoproNason Gallery this April that i cant wait to go to. Apparently they are flying all the way from Australia to attend the opening!

As you may already know, Banksy is the elusive guerrilla street artist responsible for some of the most interesting art in the city (not to mention the entire world).
