Cubic Tragedy
Ming-Yuan Chuan from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology might have gotten the biggest laughs at SIGGRAPH. The audience howled repeatedly throughout “Cubic Tragedy,” in which a female character composed of angular planes struggled with her CG ‘makeup’ and came undone by her software’s ‘undo’ function. Talk about knowing your audience!
