Thursday nite saw the special VIP preview of Banksy’s guerilla art installation “Barely Legal” in LA’s downtown warehouse district. Highlights included a live pink elephant and a vandalized delivery truck INSIDE the gallery, a melted British phone booth & a display case featuring Banksy’s newly “remixed” Paris Hilton CDs and a colony of live cockroaches. Street artist and prankster Bansky, who snuck 500 altered Paris Hilton cds into UK record stores last week, says that the LA heiress is probably too blonde to understand his dry wit.
